In this excercise, line is used to imply line, or edge.
Required are at least two drawings, each contained in a 6 × 6 inch square. Suggested (but not required) is to create one drawing with rectilinear shapes, and one with curves.
- Using Illustrator, center a 6 × 6 in square on a letter-sized (8½ × 11") page.
- Use guides to help lay out the design, rather than attempting it ‘freehand’.
- An excellent way to organize this project is to use Illustrator’s layers, which will allow seperation of elements.
