Digital Imaging
The term digital imaging covers a lot of ground. Even wiithout limiting it to only a purely digital workflow. So with that in mind, this section is divided into several others. These are Capture, dealing with the digitizing of images, Bitmap, dealing with actual creation of bitmap (raster) images, Vector, similarly dealing with vector images, and a section each on Photoshop and Illustrator, as these are two major pieces of software representing the two types of (static, 2D) digital images: bitmap and vector. Capture, Bitmap and Vector will all have software techniques, but specific topics, like palette and tool overviews will be found in the Photoshop and Illustrator sections.
